BIOS / UEFI Engineer

Join a pioneering company specialising in high-performance computing, notably known for developing Rhea, a leading energy-efficient microprocessor. Engineered for seamless collaboration with third-party accelerators like GPU, AI, and quantum technologies, 'Rhea' addresses significant challenges in medical research, artificial intelligence, security, and energy management.

Following a successful Series A funding you will be joining the company at a promising time of growth as they are set to recruit 150 engineers by the end of 2024.

Location - Grenoble / Sophia Antipolis

BIOS / UEFI Engineer Responsibilities

Collaborate with other Research and Development teams in the development and delivery of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) BIOS, incorporating the design of novel product features.
Create of high-level design documents and scope requirements, culminating in detailed specifications.
Contribute to the development of both unit tests and validation test

BIOS / UEFI Engineer Responsibilities Background

Experience in UEFI development (UEFI coding and debugging experience)
Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python and other programming languages
Good knowledge of industry standards, such as UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI...
