Requirements

Do you have experience in React?, We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with experience in creating responsive and user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and applications, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.

Required technical skills / knowledge:

HTML
CSS/SCSS
JavaScript
Experience with Wordpress or similar CMS's

Required soft skills / knowledge:

Problem Solving - ability to debug and find solutions to problem, or to seek the help needed within the team
Communication - effectively collaborate with team members and clients
Desire to learn - eagerness to learn and improve their skills and staying up to date with technology
A keen eye for detail - able to keep clean code and to adhere to design / client specs.

Desirable or bonus skills / knowledge:

Git or similar version control systems
PHP
SEO
React.js or similar JavaScript frameworks
Deployment and CI/CD (Netlify, Vercel, AWS, etc)
Experience using Headless CMS's
Experience with REST / GraphQL API integration

Duties

Implement responsive web design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices.
Write clean, maintainable code in languages such as JavaScript, PHP or other comparable languages.
Utilise version control systems such as Git or SVN for collaborative development.
Understand how to integrate third-party APIs and web services.
Maintain documentation of code changes and project progress using tools like Jira or Clickup.

Experience The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
Knowledge of data visualisation techniques and tools.
Understanding of SEO principles to optimise web applications for search engines.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on system architecture and application development., * Web Development: 2 years (preferred)
Netlify: 1 year (preferred)
