The opportunity EY is seeking a motivated and talented Healthcare Integration Consultant with expertise in leading healthcare integration engines to join our growing Digital Health Practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects with our public and private health clients across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand their integration needs, assist in the design of interoperable health and care services, and support the implementation of solutions aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery processes., + Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of integration solutions, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

  • Collaborate with clinical and technical clients to understand their integration needs and assist in the design and delivery of interoperable solutions.
  • Work closely with on-, near-, and off-shore technical teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful integration and data flow.
  • Support business development pursuits to drive growth in the Digital Health Practice, particularly in integration-related services.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in integration scenarios.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical and technical client needs related to integration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery of integration projects., + Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience in professional services working experience in a healthcare context, with a focus on integration solutions.
  • Proven experience of working with the Rhapsody integration engine. Experience of other integration engines and Microsoft integration services is a plus.
  • Proven experience with healthcare standards (such as HL7 v2, FHIR, openEHR, IHE, SNOMED, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the UK and Ireland healthcare system landscapes and reference architectures is a plus.
