Job description
- You represent the field of Cyber Security in teaching and research within the bachelor's degree program on-site at our IU campus and become part of an extensive network in the field of higher education. (For more insights, see the coursebook).
- You develop and lead face-to-face lectures on Campus and are responsible for the individual supervision of our students during their exams and while they prepare their thesis.
- You teach practice-oriented fundamental knowledge in Cyber Security and are capable of training our students in the following areas: Cyber Security and Data Protection, Standards and Frameworks, Current Challenges of Cyber Security and Secure Networking.
- You contribute to the creative development of teaching formats within IU's didactic concept and collaborate closely with colleagues to further develop these formats.

Therefore, we are seeking an expert in Cyber Security who brings professional experience and who also possesses strong academic expertise and didactic skills to contribute these to teaching at IU.
- You successfully completed a university degree in Cyber Security or a related field with outstanding academic performance and hold a relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.).
- You have at least five years of practical work experience, including three years outside university, and may have already gained initial experience in academic teaching.
- You demonstrate your expertise in the relevant subject areas through publications or projects.
- You work team-oriented and reliably and are committed to in-person teaching while also being proficient in conducting virtual lectures.
- You reside permanently in Germany.
- You have English language skills at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)., * University certificates
