Roku Developer

We are looking for a skilled Roku Developer with experience in BrightScript, SceneGraph, and streaming media applications to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Roku applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience., * Develop, maintain, and enhance Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, DRM solutions, and analytics platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Ensure applications meet Roku certification requirements and best practices.
• Stay up to date with Roku SDK updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.

• 2+ years of experience developing Roku applications.
• Strong knowledge of BrightScript and SceneGraph.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, analytics, and ad networks into Roku apps.
• Familiarity with DRM solutions (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay).
• Understanding of video streaming technologies (HLS, DASH).
• Experience with Unit Testing and debugging on the Roku platform.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Roku applications.
