Senior Test Automation Engineer

This Senior Test Automation Engineer will be working for the FSM/RAM business unit responsible for SaaS based products encompassing Field Service Management, Vehicle Tracking, Fleet Management and Connected Cameras. With initial focus on Field Service Management., * Lead testing for the FSM development department

• Test Automation Strategy: design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for complex SaaS systems, ensuring coverage of critical business processes and integration points.
• Test Script Development: independently write, modify, and maintain automation scripts for various test scenarios. Understands how to structure test scripts for reusability and scalability.
• Work with the senior developers to establish FSM's QA and Release management process considering both automated and manual testing to improve the quality of our releases across all our platforms.
• Contribute to FSM's Documentation process for capturing and sharing information about products, projects or other relevant information that will help with knowledge sharing.
• Be able to work independently on QA tasks across FSM's portfolio of products
• Provide regular clear reporting, both verbal and non-verbal, within the IT team and across the wider organisation on task/project progress, support issues or other technical information
• Participate in relevant training, coaching and mentoring and identify personal training needs to achieve business goals.
• Maintain and develop own skills, knowledge and behaviours as well relevant industry standards.

Essential Skills

• Computer science or similar related experience. 5+ years proven track record in a similar role.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst OR ISTQB Technical Test Analyst
• Application of Test Design Techniques
• Advanced Scripting and Tool Mastery: Deep expertise in multiple automation tools and scripting languages, capable of writing highly optimized and complex test scripts.
• Integration and Continuous Testing: Proficient in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and familiar with using version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Test Plan Development
• Understanding of APIs
• Knowledge of Security Protocols and Standards
• A good understanding of Agile Programming Methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work both individually and as part of an agile team.
