Are you a highly experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with deep expertise across the Microsoft Business Applications suite, particularly within the UK SME market? Do you thrive in a leadership role where you can oversee full project lifecycles, shape best practice delivery standards, and mentor consultants to drive excellence across the team? This opportunity will position you as a core Business Central leader, taking ownership of end-to-end implementations while supporting both clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions., + Act as a subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 Business Central, leading full lifecycle implementation projects.
- Support the commercial team with pre-sales activities, including client workshops, demonstrations, proposals, and solution design.
- Conduct detailed business process analysis to design and deliver tailored BC solutions.
- Lead project scoping, documentation, and delivery planning to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Take accountability for project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Stay current with Microsoft roadmap developments and industry trends to drive innovation and adoption.
- Mentor and coach consultants, promoting knowledge sharing and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years' hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision (2013 onwards).
- Proven track record of delivering 10+ full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong functional expertise across core Business Central modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, and Reporting.
- Experience with third-party ISV solutions such as Continia and Jet Reports (or similar reporting/add-on tools).
- 3+ years' experience in solution design, implementation, support, and client engagement.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 integration with Dynamics 365.
- Working knowledge of C/AL or AL, including report customisation (e.g., SSRS) and solution configuration.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to create accurate project scopes, estimates, and delivery plans.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading other consultants.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across varied industries.
- Previous involvement in pre-sales, discovery workshops, and client-facing engagements.
