Job description

THE TEAM You'll join the Technical Event Reduction and Reliability team, supporting the Part M / CAMO reliability function and driving the ongoing reduction of technical out-of-service events across easyJet's fleet. The team works cross-functionally to identify process improvements and automation opportunities, supporting business cases using engineering and reliability data., As Reliability Digital Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting reliability and technical event reduction across our fleet. You'll administer and govern the Airbus Skywise Core platform, evaluate new tools and Airbus data services, interface with Airbus to extract operational insights, and maintain commercial and contractual awareness of Skywise and related data solutions. You'll identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and work cross-functionally to deliver business cases using engineering and reliability data.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, > Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using PySpark for large-scale data processing

Working knowledge of SQL, including basic queries for data retrieval and manipulation Ability to cope with large and complex data systems and processes Good understanding of aircraft maintenance and operational data Experience in Skywise or Databricks is desirable Working experience in data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot is desirable Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or other Microsoft Power Platform tools is desirable Experience in aircraft systems, airline engineering, and reliability systems is desirable Prior experience in AMOS will be an advantage Ability to prioritise and manage a dynamic workload, especially during high-activity periods, while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes Computer literate - intermediate to advanced level knowledge and experience in using MS Office suite Ability to identify deficiencies, rectify problems, and freely communicate actions with all stakeholders Adaptability and solution-oriented approach Ownership and delivery - provides a high level of motivation and support to the team to ensure consistent delivery Building relationships - communicates effectively, proactively shares information, establishes trust quickly, and works effectively within their function Innovation and change - identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, seeks to improve efficiency, and influences others to support change Business performance - understands the commercial reality of easyJet, keeps up to date with industry trends, considers cost management and long-term strategy in decision-making

PRACTICALITIES This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
