Job description

An experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer is required to deliver complex infrastructure projects within a regulated, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on hybrid platform delivery across VMware and Microsoft Azure/AVS, with strong involvement in life cycle management, vulnerability remediation, HA/DR alignment, and service transition., * Deliver Windows Server re-platforming, upgrade, and decommissioning across hybrid estates.

Own project workstreams and provide regular stakeholder updates.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, security policies, and governance controls.
Support structured patching and vulnerability management programmes.
Manage service transition, documentation, and operational handover.
Align solutions with HA/DR requirements.

Requirements

Strong engineering/project delivery experience in Microsoft environments.
Advanced knowledge of: Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Certificate Services.
Experience with phased patching and tiered environments.
Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, firewall rules, proxy/direct access).
Experience working in regulated environments.
