Job description
An exciting and innovative software house are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Solutions Architect to join their growing technology team.
You will take ownership of the overall system architecture across a suite of cloud-based enterprise platforms used globally, shaping the technical direction of both existing systems and new greenfield projects. Working closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders, you will ensure scalable, high-performance solutions are designed and delivered from concept through to implementation.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, mathematically-driven systems, influence architectural decisions at a strategic level, and play a key role in staying at the forefront of innovation. You will have access to a wide range of modern tools and technologies, alongside a collaborative and highly skilled engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong background in C# .NET (5+ years)
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture / designing distributed systems
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Strong Mathematical background (algorithm development / computational maths etc)
Desirables:
- Frontend exposure (Angular 18+)
- Messaging systems (RabbitMQ / MassTransit)
- Experience with TDD / DDD principles
- Maths / Physics Degree
- Microservices architecture experience
Benefits & conditions
The salary for this role is between £80,000 - £100,000. This is a hybrid position offering 3 days WFH per week, alongside an excellent benefits package including a 5% matched pension scheme, life and critical illness cover, salary-sacrifice options, free parking, flexi time, plus 25 days holiday (increasing with service) plus bank holidays plus more.
