Design Engineer

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Senior Design Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and taking ownership of programmes from concept through qualification.

Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will lead the design and development of complex hardware systems, ensuring products meet stringent technical, environmental, and customer requirements typical of defence and aerospace programmes.

• Lead the design and development of complex hardware systems across the full product lifecycle
• Translate technical and customer requirements into robust engineering solutions

Full Lifecycle Engineering Ownership

• Drive projects from concept design through detailed engineering, prototyping, testing, and qualification
• Support system validation, environmental testing, and certification activities
• Deliver high-performance designs suitable for harsh and regulated environments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and external suppliers to ensure design feasibility and quality
• Collaborate across electrical, electronic, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines

Technical Mentorship

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
