How you can support us: You will conduct the planning and the technical implementation of current and future laboratory and cleanroom infrastructure. You will monitor its operational state, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution. You will manage relationships with vendors and service providers. You will develop and enforce policies and best practices. You will prepare concrete
concepts and agreements for access and use of existing infrastructure.
Requirements
You will develop an infrastructure plan for the MQV and coordinate planning and applications for new infrastructure at state, federal, and potentially EU levels. You will evaluate potential locations, initiate the planning phase and coordinate with MQV partner institutions for a future technology centre. You will closely collaborate with leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals. Your qualifications: You have several years of experience in the operation of research infrastructure, ideally with cryogenic systems, optical setup and nanofabrication in cleanroom facilities. Ideally, you have completed your degree in Facility Management, Engineering or Natural Sciences. Ideally you also have knowledge of technical building equipment (TGA), building services, maintenance management, and/or safety technology. You have an understanding of laboratory environments, occupational safety, hazardous materials management, and legal regulations (e.g. DIN standards). You work in an organized manner and pay attention to details. You demonstrate strong communication skills. You approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset. You have very good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken (level C1). You have excellent organizational skills, high self-motivation, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
