Senior Backend Engineer

You will join a newly forming team of Customer Success Tech. As a Backend Developer in the team, together with your colleagues, you will:

1. Create a more efficient and intelligent workplace for human Agents by automating repetitive manual work and providing intelligent tooling.
2. Reduce human-handled customer questions by automating the handling of incoming questions via app/web/call/mail.
3. Create a more intelligent central routing solution to route customers always to the best possible channel and or agent based on customer variables, actualities and other indicators.
4. Create the best possible voicebot linked to CoPilot Studio, providing self-service and intelligent routing.
5. Besides these, you will be actively involved in creating a better, more efficient and mostly automated Customer Service., * Collaborate effectively within cross-functional product teams to architect and deliver exceptional backend solutions using .NET Core and Azure DevOps.

• Inject innovation into production processes, contributing fresh ideas and creative approaches to enhance the quality and impact of our digital products.
• Craft enduring, future-proof backend solutions that reflect a strong sense of pride and excellence, ensuring longevity and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in .NET Core and Azure DevOps, driving continuous improvement and technological advancement.
• Utilize your expertise to shape user experiences by translating design concepts into robust and efficient backend systems, optimizing user engagement and overall product excellence.

As you come aboard, you'll seamlessly integrate into our backend team and join the platform or one of the product teams. While building solutions for your team you will always keep in mind the quality and performance of backend applications across Eneco's digital platforms. This involvement not only reinforces your role within the product team but also extends your influence to enhance the broader backend standards across all digital realms, fueling our ongoing technological progress., Work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. With manager approval, you may work abroad (within approved countries) up to 3 weeks/year, max 2 consecutively.

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in both .NET and Azure are a must.
• Big bonus if you have experience with Microsoft GenAI tooling, such as AI Foundry.
• Desired experience: CRM, Genesys CX Cloud, Dynamics 365, MS Power Platform.
• Experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications in Azure.
• Experience working in ADO (Azure DevOps) is important as the CI/CD environment is built in this and works fully automatically.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers and project managers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English.
