Job description

This role focuses on supporting the site's asset management strategy through the effective supervision of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, ensuring the integrity of maintenance data, optimisation of maintenance strategies and accurate asset information across the facility. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to support plant reliability, maintenance planning and long-term asset performance. The role will involve:

  • Managing and maintaining the site Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
  • Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance activities are correctly scheduled, prioritised and closed out
  • Maintaining and improving the asset register, including equipment hierarchies, classifications and criticalities
  • Liaising with operations, maintenance and engineering teams regarding asset status following maintenance or inspection activities
  • Reviewing and optimising planned maintenance programmes within the system
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of maintenance shutdowns and major maintenance activities
  • Working with equipment suppliers and subject matter experts to maintain accurate asset lifecycle information
  • Developing reports, dashboards and KPIs to support asset performance monitoring
  • Analysing asset data to identify reliability improvements and support long-term asset strategy
  • Supporting the management of change process relating to asset and maintenance system updates

Requirements

  • A recognised engineering qualification at HNC level or similar
  • Experience working with industrial plant equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, motors, instrumentation or switchgear
  • Experience using CMMS / EAM systems within an energy, oil & gas or industrial process environment
  • Good understanding of asset management and maintenance planning principles
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with asset data and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar
