This Architect Job Cardiff opportunity offers a strong platform for a qualified Architect to develop design and delivery skills across a wide project portfolio. Based in Cardiff within the architecture sector, the role focuses on supporting and leading design development, managing project stages, and contributing to technical delivery.

You will work closely with senior designers and technical teams to develop concepts into coordinated and deliverable schemes. The role involves managing multiple projects of varying scale, contributing to client engagement, and ensuring design intent is maintained through delivery stages. Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural designs from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing design quality, deadlines, and client expectations across varying project scales.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design information and ensure cohesive project delivery across all stages.
  • Prepare drawings, presentations, and technical information that clearly communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships and responding effectively to feedback and requirements.
  • Support fee management and project administration tasks, contributing to commercially aware project delivery and performance.
  • Assist in business development activities including contributing to bids, presentations, and generating positive project exposure., You will enjoy working across multiple projects and collaborating with a broad team of specialists. Requirements

  • Qualified Architect with RIBA Part 3 and up to five years post qualification experience within a design focused practice.
  • Strong design and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and design development processes.
  • Experience managing more than one project at a time while maintaining organisation, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Revit and visualisation tools such as Enscape, supporting both design development and client presentation.
  • Ability to coordinate design submissions, technical documentation, and specifications across project stages effectively.
  • Confident communication skills with experience presenting to clients and working within collaborative team environments.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe tools such as Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial for presentation and reporting tasks., This role is ideal for a recently qualified Architect or early career professional looking to expand their experience within a supportive and design led environment.
