DV Cleared Software Engineer

Location: South Coast (Hybrid)

Contract: 6-12 Months

We are supporting a Defence client looking for a DV Cleared Software Engineer to deliver secure, high-performance applications within mission-critical programmes.

The Role

You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions across secure environments, contributing to the delivery of critical digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain secure software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps and QA
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
Support integration and deployment pipelines
Ensure security and performance standards are met

Key Requirements

Active DV Clearance (essential)
Strong experience in software development (eg Java, Python, C#)
Experience working in Agile environments
Knowledge of API development and microservices
Experience with version control (Git)
Understanding of secure coding practices

Desirable

Experience in Defence or secure government environments
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
