DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer

Location: South Coast (Hybrid)

Contract: 6-12 Months

We are supporting a Defence client on a requirement for a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to deliver critical infrastructure capability across secure environments.

This role sits within a high-priority programme focused on enhancing resilience, scalability, and security across mission-critical systems.

The Role

You will design, build, and support secure infrastructure across a complex environment, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and aligned to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions
  • Support cloud and on-prem environments
  • Maintain and improve system performance and resilience
  • Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Support automation and infrastructure as code

Key Requirements

  • Active DV Clearance (essential)
  • Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within secure environments
  • Experience across Windows/Linux environments
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or private cloud)
  • Knowledge of virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with networking, storage, and security principles

Desirable

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience in Defence or National Security environments
  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
