Pre-Sales & IT Systems Consultant

As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you combine deep networking and server expertise with strong consulting skills.

• Conduct technical analysis and requirements gathering with customers during the pre-sales phase.
• Design and develop network, server, and access system architectures, including components and solution designs.
• Prepare technical documentation, architectural concepts, proposals, and component recommendations according to internal standards.
• Collaborate closely with sales, project teams, security, and infrastructure to align technical solutions and ensure optimal project preparation.
• Support workshops, presentations, and customer meetings as a technical point of contact.
• Assess technical risks, dependencies, and feasibility within the scope of projects and tenders.

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, university) or equivalent qualification in IT systems engineering, networking, or information security.
• Several years of experience in planning or administering network, server, or security infrastructures.
• Ideally, initial experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical solution design.
• Knowledge in the following areas is an advantage:

• Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, firewall technologies)
• Server and virtualization environments (Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V)
• Identity and access management, Zero Trust, MFA
• Security architectures (firewalls, VPN, NAC, segmentation)

• Business bike leasing, We offer you for this position a monthly minimum gross salary (starting level) of €3.954,00 on a full time basis (38.5 hrs/week). The actual salary is calculated on the basis of previous periods of service, qualification, professional experience and the collective agreement.
