Job description

As a System Monitoring Architect IT Systems, you actively shape the monitoring landscape of our company.

  • Maintenance, further development, and optimization of existing and new monitoring checks - including testing, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Technical implementation of requirements from Monitoring Consulting and derivation of suitable monitoring strategies.
  • Planning, execution, and documentation of patches and updates for the monitoring infrastructure, as well as administration and ongoing development of the monitoring platforms.
  • In-depth error analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of infrastructure and monitoring issues.
  • Close collaboration with system, network, and application teams to ensure seamless end-to-end monitoring.
  • Creation and updating of technical documentation, as well as contribution to the standardization and automation of monitoring processes.

Requirements

  • Completed higher technical education in the IT field or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Solid network administration skills as well as Unix/Linux administration knowledge
  • Experience in database administration
  • Very good English and German language skills
  • Good programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, Shell, or Perl
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of IT security principles and security standards
  • Analytical and structured working style with a strong focus on quality and solutions
  • Team-oriented, clear, and proactive communication

  • Business bike leasing, We offer you for this position a monthly minimum gross salary (starting level) of €3.954,00 on a full time basis (38.5 hrs/week). The actual salary is calculated on the basis of previous periods of service, qualification, professional experience and the collective agreement.
