Job description

  • Manage and maintain project documentation across multiple live projects
  • Ensure all drawings, specifications and technical documents are correctly stored and distributed
  • Control document workflows in line with company and project procedures
  • Upload, track and manage documents using systems such as Aconex and Procore
  • Maintain version control and ensure all stakeholders are working from current information
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants and subcontractors
  • Support the project team with document tracking, reporting and administration
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and audit requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction or M&E / building services
  • Experience using document control platforms such as Aconex and/or Procore
  • Strong understanding of document management processes and workflows
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with site and office teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

About the company

We are working with a well-established building services engineering contractor turning over approximately 40 million per year, who are looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to support project delivery from their Basildon office. This is a key role within the business, ensuring all project documentation is managed, controlled and distributed accurately across multiple live projects.
