Job description

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain end user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals)
  • Provide 3rd line support, ensuring timely resolution of complex end user issues with minimal disruption
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including OneDrive and associated security features
  • Administer and optimise endpoint management solutions (eg Intune, SCCM, Autopilot)
  • Maintain and improve standard operating environments (SOE), device builds, and configurations
  • Ensure endpoint compliance with firm security policies and regulatory requirements
  • Package, test, and deploy client-side applications
  • Maintain and update Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Windows images
  • Manage application updates and version control across the estate
  • Monitor and optimise end user performance using DEX tools (eg Nexthink)
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes and support tasks
  • Collaborate with application teams on rollouts, upgrades, and firm-wide initiatives
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar EUC role within a professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with endpoint management and DEX tools (eg Intune, SCCM, Nexthink)
  • Experience deploying devices using Intune Autopilot
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and user-facing applications
  • Experience managing mobile devices (iOS)
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell Scripting for automation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with legal applications and document management systems (eg iManage)
  • Ability to analyse endpoint data to drive proactive improvements

Desirable:

  • Experience with Dell and Lenovo hardware (drivers, BSOD troubleshooting)
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and image management
