Job description
In this role, you'll combine hands-on engineering with people leadership, helping deliver complex features while supporting the growth and effectiveness of the engineers on your team. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, ensure high engineering standards, and help the team build scalable, reliable systems. Requirements
o 2+ years of proven experience as Java Development Team Leader o 5+ years of professional software development experience o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience o Strong expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security o Experience with frontend development and UI architecture; hands-on experience with Angular is a plus o Strong understanding of RESTful design, HTTP, and distributed systems o Proven experience applying software architecture principles and design patterns o Deep experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) o Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency o Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines o Strong analytical skills and a high degree of ownership o Advanced written and spoken English Nice to have o Experience with Spring WebFlux and reactive systems o Experience with Elasticsearch or other NoSQL / search technologies o Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures o Experience with performance tuning, profiling, and scalability techniques o Good understanding of networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
