Principal UI Engineer

• Lead and mentor front-end development teams to ensure high-quality, scalable code
• Define and evolve front-end architecture across multiple products and platforms
• Evaluate and adopt emerging UI technologies, championing best practices and design standards
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals
• Conduct code reviews, technical design discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components, libraries, and design systems to enhance consistency and efficiency

• Extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React, Typescript, JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5
• Strong understanding of scalable and maintainable UI architecture, including component libraries and design systems
• Skilled in building cross-browser compatible, high-quality user interfaces
• Proficient with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Knowledge of web performance optimisation and security best practices
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Experienced in leading or mentoring junior developers, driving standards and best practices
