Job description
As a Data & Insights Manager within the Lighthouse team, you will serve as a trusted delivery lead and a catalyst for commercial growth. Your mission involves steering complex (Gen)BI projects from ideation through execution, while scaling and refining our market-leading strategic offerings.
We are looking for a leader who excels at translating deep technical BI expertise into actionable business results, combining strategic vision with hands-on knowledge to guide clients and internal teams toward the next generation of data intelligence.
Lead End-to-End Delivery: Drive complex (Gen)BI engagements from the initial strategy session through to final implementation, ensuring that solutions deliver meaningful and measurable business impact.
Drive Commercial Growth: You're not just a project lead; you're a builder. You identify new opportunities, help shape winning pitches, and contribute to scaling our (Gen)BI footprint across the market.
Architect Technical Excellence: Oversee the design of semantic models, AI-powered analytics, and executive-ready data storytelling - ensuring every dashboard tells a clear, compelling story that resonates with decision-makers.
Shape the (Gen)BI Proposition: Own and evolve KPMG's (Gen)BI methodology and tooling strategy, developing reusable assets and frameworks that strengthen our competitive advantage.
Act as a Strategic Advisor: Serve as a subject-matter expert for clients and internal teams, translating emerging trends (such as Copilot and Conversational BI) into practical, high-value solutions.
Empower & Collaborate: Lead multidisciplinary teams of data engineers and analysts while cultivating strong partnerships across KPMG's AI, Cloud, and broader digital practices.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in BI, Data & Analytics, or Digital Transformation, ideally within a consulting environment.
- A proven track record of leading complex BI and analytics projects from initial strategy through successful delivery.
- Experience driving growth, including proposal development, presenting to clients, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Deep expertise with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker) and data-modeling concepts, along with strong knowledge of semantic layers, governance, and AI-powered analytics.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of strategic topics and scale them within the organization.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to turn complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences.
- Fluency in English and Dutch; French is a plus., * Dutch (Very good knowledge)
