Senior Cloud Project Manager

Join our Bern office as a Senior Cloud Project Manager. Drive cloud migrations and client success in a dynamic team.

Tasks

• Lead cloud migration projects and act as the primary client contact.
• Collaborate on RFPs with technical teams for project proposals.
• Manage project execution regarding time, quality, and budget., In this position, you report directly to the Head of PM/SDM. You are the interface to our customers in the region and responsible for the implementation of cloud migration projects.
• You contribute to the creation of offers for various RFPs in collaboration with the pre-sales and technical teams
• You are the main contact person for your customers during the build and run phases
• You manage project implementation in terms of time, quality, scope, and budget
• You lead project teams from different units as well as subcontractors Ideally, you have a background in workplace/platforms/infrastructure and/or development/architecture, so you understand modern workplace solutions, hosting, and cloud migrations. In addition, you bring experience in successfully managing small to medium-sized projects, especially in collaboration between customers, development, and operations. Furthermore, you know how to use your expertise effectively to support customers in achieving their specific business goals.

• Experience in IT project management and cloud solutions required.
• Fluent in German and English; Swiss German is a plus.
• Technical expertise in ITIL, M365, and cloud platforms essential., * You are passionate about technology, want to continuously learn, and master challenges in a changing environment

• You have fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; Swiss German is an advantage.

Your expertise includes some or all of the following areas:

• Practical experience in IT project management
• ITIL
• Modern Workplace, M365
• Hypervisors: VMware or Hyper-V
• Container platforms: Docker, OpenShift, OKD, or Kubernetes
• Networks (firewalling, routing, switching)
• Software Defined Infrastructure
• Configuration and deployment management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform)
• At least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
