• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or extensive equivalent experience
• Several years of professional experience in software engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence with a deep specialization in Looker (LookML) and BigQuery
• Proven experience in designing Hub-and-Spoke architectures (project imports, refinements) within Looker
• Highly proficient in SQL (BigQuery Dialect) with a focus on optimizing query performance and cost-efficiency
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake) and how to translate these into an efficient Semantic Layer
• Experience with Looker permissions, content management, and Looker API
• Ability to communicate complex technical architectures to business stakeholders and drive the adoption of data standards
• Team-oriented, communicative, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus
• Agile mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams
