• In cooperation with our customers, you will implement exciting use cases from Litigation & eDiscovery (Advanced Information Retrieval), Compliance & Investigation (anomaly detection), Private Equity (Classification, Information Extraction) and M&A (Text Summarization).

• You use modern data science environments (based on e.g. Hadoop, Kubernetes, Cloud) on which you prepare data for analysis and machine learning, train advanced analytics and machine learning models and put them into operation

• You will evaluate the latest methods and technologies, have a direct influence on our architectural decisions and drive the design of our LegalTech platform.

Persönliche Fähigkeiten

• You have a degree in MINT. Ideally, you have already been able to gain practical experience in the use of machine learning and information retrieval in the legal tech industry or similar
• You are characterized by excellent programming skills in Python including mastery of the standard libraries for NLP and data science (e.g. spacy, pandas), knowledge of at least one other programming language (e.g. Java, Javascript) rounds off your profile
• Ideally, you already have experience in processing large amounts of documents with storage systems (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB), with big data technologies (e.g. Nifi, Spark) and on machine learning platforms (e.g. AWS Sagemaker, Azure Databricks) can.
• You feel comfortable in an agile work environment and use continuous integration & deployment tools & methods (e.g. Docker, git, Jenkins) to deliver iterative and reproducible results
• Your communication skills in German at least level C1 and English will enable you to convince customers and colleagues and to convey technically difficult concepts in a clear and understandable way
• You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team and enjoy working with customers
