Job description
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across layers 1-7
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN, WAN, wireless, security, load balancing) in complex environments
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity
- Own network incidents and projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Configure monitoring, alerting, and automated escalations following best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely issue resolution
- Contribute to standards, documentation, change management, and mentoring within the team.
About the Team
The Network Infrastructure Team is responsible for keeping the company connected across data centers, remote offices, and cloud environments worldwide. The team is globally distributed, with engineers based across multiple regions, including a presence in Barcelona, and works closely with internal stakeholders such as security, cloud engineering, IT operations, and business teams to deliver a secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise network.
The team designs, builds, and supports core network infrastructure, including routing and switching for data centers and private cloud environments, remote office connectivity, enterprise wireless and voice services, network security using Palo Alto firewalls and IPSec VPNs, load balancing and application delivery with A10 technologies, and secure connectivity to cloud providers and external partners. Work is guided by standardized processes and best practices, with a strong focus on stability, scalability, and supporting the company's continued growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent education/certifications)
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following: Cisco switches/routers, A10 load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls (incl. L7 DPI), and Imperva WAF.
- Experience with network design and planning for enterprise environments
- Advanced troubleshooting/root-cause analysis, including data capture and analysis across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/security/load-balancing
- Capacity planning experience (bandwidth analysis, facilities, and system interdependencies).
It would be great if you also have…
- Vendor certifications, Cisco (CCNP, CCDP, or higher), Firewalls, Data Center, Wireless.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Hands on experience with A10 Thunder Series and/or F5 Load Balancers and WAFs.
- Hands experience with VPN technologies (IPSEC, GRE, Route-based and DMVPN).
- Hands on experience with routing, switching, and security.
- Hands on experience with SDWAN and Wireless Technologies.
Benefits & conditions
This is a full-time permanent position, primarily working core business hours in CET time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed and on-calls system (maintenance work due to customer SLA requirements)
This is a hybrid position working in the office up to 2 days a week.
