Infrastructure Platform Engineer

Job Title: Infrastructure Platform Engineer City, Country: Barcelona, Spain Join dsm-firmenich's Digital Infrastructure Foundation team as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer. You will support and manage our global hosting platforms spanning Private, Edge and Public cloud using IaC, and modern automation tooling. This is a hands-on engineering role witha strategic outcome driving scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across global operations. Your key responsibilities Engineer and maintain infrastructure runtime platforms across cloud (AWS, Azure) Edge and Datacenter environments Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and appropriate tooling to automate deployments and configuration Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network/Security/Data & AI) to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise platform performance using modern observability tools Build reusable components and templates for landing zones

You bring 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) & Scripting Strong Expertise on AWS Platform Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with SRE practices & observability tools About dsm-firmenich: At dsm-firmenich, we don't just meet expectations - we go beyond them.
