Financial Systems, Data and Analytics Specialist

A fast-growing international company is transforming their Finance function and Financial Systems landscape. The company is scaling quickly and is looking to improve their Data, Analytics and Automation for FP&A, Reporting, Finance BI and Analytics to support their continued growth.

The company is looking for someone with strong Finance understanding including Financial Planning and Analysis, Reporting and Business Intelligence and strong technical skills for modelling (Excel, SQL, Python) to join their team.

Sitting in Finance, the Finance Analytics & Data Specialist will understand business and finance needs and implement efficient, scaleable systems and automations to support their continued growth.

What will I be doing?

• Own finance requirements gathering and translate to financial systems and automation
• Analyse existing finance systems landscapes including Netsuite and EPM tools such as Looker, Planful, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, Anaplan or similar to identify and deliver system and data integration and automation
• Leverage technologies including AI (Claude) to automate key processes wherever possible in FP&A, Financial Controlling, Reporting and repeated accounting operations processes AP, AR etc.
• Drive data improvement for key finance areas to deliver improved analytics and Business intelligence
• Work with technical teams to deploy automations and take ownership of delivery
• Change Management: drive adoption for the new way of working within finance and accounting teams and provide end user support
• Support training of best practice in Data and Automation

• 3+ years' experience in Finance Analytics, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM / CPM), Finance Business Intelligence or Finance Data roles
• Prior experience in a fast-growth international scale-up company
• Prior experience delivering Finance BI, Finance Performance, and FP&A improvement projects
• Good technical skills for data modelling and transformation, e.g. Python, R, Javascript, VBA, Access, .NET, Java, SQL or similar
• Prior experience delivering AI Automation in a Finance Setting (FP&A, Accounting, Reporting)
• Prior experience with Cloud Financial systems experience (e.g. Workday, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle Netsuite, Adaptive, Planful, Pigment or similar)
