Job description
- Providing 1st line and some 2nd line IT support across multiple school sites
- Setting up laptops, desktops, accounts, passwords, and peripherals
- Supporting hardware including printers, projectors, and basic networking
- Logging, updating, and managing tickets via the helpdesk system
- Assisting with software deployments and system updates
- Working closely with other technicians to keep services running smoothly
- Supporting staff and students with day-to-day IT issues
- Following data protection and health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ months' IT experience (commercial, educational, or training-based)
- Comfortable with basic IT support (device setup, password resets, troubleshooting)
- Keen to develop skills in networks, hardware, and cloud-based systems
- Friendly, patient, and confident supporting non-technical users
- Organised, reliable, and happy to travel between sites
- Experience with Windows environments and Google Workspace
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
