Job description
As a Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management, coordination
and successful delivery of key projects spanning a range of digital products and
experiences. Working across a mix of sectors including not-for-profit, entertainment,
games and commercial, you'll be the go-to person both internally and for our clients
driving successful project and business outcomes.
You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with all areas of the studio including designers,
technologists, architects, engineers and will have direct access to the management and
operations team.
You will be accountable for aspects of the project including scoping, budgets, timings,
resourcing, project cadence, client service and stakeholder management. If you are the
type of project manager that seeks a balance of creative & tech, plenty of variety, a
dynamic pace and lots of exposure, this is the role for you.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall?, * You will have demonstrable track record in initiating, managing and delivering
- projects of varying scales, on time and on budget
- You will be proactive and self-motivated
- You are a team player and typically get your energy from those around you
- You will be a natural 'people person' and known for fostering relationships
- amongst peers and clients alike
- You know how to mobilise a team and create positive team dynamics
- You are solutions focussed - you can identify problems and quickly reach
- resolutions
- You are a natural when it comes to stakeholder management and are comfortable
- managing up to senior teams
- You are a self-learner - you are constantly looking for ways to upskill and share
- knowledge with those around you
- You are an Agile ninja and have experience playing the role of Scrum Master
- You are commercially minded and can spot opportunities to drive incremental
- revenue as well as ensure project profitability
- You are meticulous and detail oriented
- A well constructed spreadsheet is your happy place
- You love a good process (designing them and running them) and can set good
- project governance
- You are familiar with revenue forecasting, billing schedules, cost reconciliations
- and can work with the finance team to have them all running like clockwork
- You are strategic as well as delivery focussed and are able to elevate out of the
- project detail to interpret/effect business objectives/outcomes
- You will be user-centred and be able to distinctly manage for admin/client users
- and the end user
- You have a creative eye and enjoy shaping and influencing the creative product
What you'll bring
- Experience in project management practices including Agile and waterfall
- Experience developing projects proposals and articulating to stakeholders and
- clients
- Expert in scoping, estimating and all aspects of financial management
- Excellent presentation and writing skills
- Comfortable with project management, agency management, and collaboration
- tools including Jira, GSuite, Confluence, Slack, invision, Productive and such like
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience managing senior client stakeholders up to director level
- Aware of web and app development and front/back end technologies and
- platforms
- Desirable but not essential - Knowledge of CI/CD and development processes and
- associated technologies (such as Git, Jenkins)
- Desirable but not essential - An understanding of cloud-based infrastructure
- (preferably AWS)
