Job description
The Junior Product Owner will contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of a core ERP product that supports key supply chain functions such as procurement, order management, logistics, and inventory. You'll collaborate closely with developers, testers, and a variety of business stakeholders to refine the backlog, support agile delivery processes, and ensure smooth releases of new features, integration, and improvements into the live environment. This is a hands-on role that includes clarifying user stories, supporting ERP change requests, and assisting with the resolution of production issues that impact day-to-day supply chain operations. - Collaborate with development teams (including offshore resources) to clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, and scenarios for delivery.
- Support UAT activities including planning, executing, capturing feedback, and prioritising defects.
- Work with business stakeholders across supply chain functions to understand processes and translate them into actionable backlog items.
- Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and maintain clear communication across teams.
- Develop knowledge of ERP data flows and supply chain processes related to orders, inventory, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Experience with ERP or business systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) or a demonstrated interest in ERP and supply chain processes.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory processes.
- Basic understanding of product development and agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Experience supporting UAT or testing activities (e.g., executing test cases, validating features, logging defects).
- Exposure to working with developers, including offshore teams, and engaging with business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and confidence asking questions and clarifying requirements.
- Good time management and adaptability within fast-paced delivery environments.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a Junior Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-oriented role.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and software delivery practices (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, release processes).
- Participation in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, refinements, reviews, retrospectives)., * Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, or relevant practical experience.
