To provide line management of officers in CAS Volunteering Team
To help establish and keep CAS at the forefront of Volunteering in the UK and bring innovation right into the heart of Suffolk
To be an ambassador for CAS supporting and promoting CAS's diverse range of products and services
To be a positive and flexible member of a high performing, innovative and enterprising CAS team, To provide line management of officers in CAS Volunteering Team Effectively line manage staff across the projects and core areas of work
Provide strong, dynamic and effective leadership for the Volunteering Team
Continually review and develop, existing and new, free and paid for resources and services, that are provided by CAS
Deliver targets for income growth as directed by Deputy Director of Operations (DDoO)
Work with the DDoO to identify new opportunities that would enhance this area of CAS's work
Scan and take advantage of funding and fundraising opportunities and write applications to develop opportunities that enhance Volunteering and support the implementation of Suffolk Volunteer Strategy
Ensure the team provides a range of content for both internal and external marketing resources such as newsletters, e-bulletins, posters, flyers and postcards etc., Manage the Volunteer Suffolk social media accounts and wider comms from the team - ensure the team contribute marketing and comms content regularly
To ensure the effective reporting of the impact of Volunteering through capturing and recording outputs, outcomes, stories and case studies
Ensure regular monitoring and reporting to appropriate bodies for active programmes and collate examples of good practice
Ensure all finance processes and budget responsibility are managed timely and efficiently
To develop effective local relationships with statutory and VCFSE sectors to position CAS as an organisation ready and able to support volunteering throughout Suffolk

To continually scan and research innovative and successful approaches to providing volunteering best practice and infrastructure support in Suffolk determined by intelligence and evidence of need
To develop effective local relationships with statutory, private and VCFSE sectors to position CAS as an organisation ready and able to support Suffolk's Voluntary sector Undertake activities and facilitate events to ensure that CAS is the place to go for all things volunteering.
To be an ambassador for CAS supporting and promoting CAS's diverse range of products and services Develop and maintain an expert working knowledge about the diverse range of CAS's products and services and seek to raise awareness and promote these locally and wherever possible
Be a first point of contact to share knowledge about who to turn to for support in CAS
To work with the wider CAS team to raise awareness of Volunteering activity so they can promote CAS's diverse range of projects to their stakeholder groups
Actively promote the benefits of CAS network
