Job description

We are currently looking to hire a regional Terminal Development Manager (PM) for our automotive Services division based in Barcelona. Would you like to promote your professional career within our automotive services division?

Key responsabilities:

  • Design and execute major infrastructure improvement projects
  • Manage construction and renovation projects from concept through commissioning
  • Coordinate with engineering firms, contractors, and port authorities
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement new IT systems and digital solutions (TOS, yard management systems, customer portals)
  • Manage customer-specific infrastructure projects and service enhancements
  • Coordinate complex projects involving government authorities and regulatory compliance
  • Support commercial team with technical solutions for customer requirements

Network Expansion & New Terminal Development

  • Conduct comprehensive market studies and opportunity assessments for new terminal locations
  • Perform financial analysis and business case development for expansion opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets or partnership opportunities
  • Monitor global automotive logistics trends and competitive landscape
  • Lead participation in international port concession tenders
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for new terminal operations
  • Develop compelling business plans and presentations for decision-makers
  • Manage the complete development cycle of new terminals from site selection to operational launch
  • Establish legal entities and operational structures in new markets
  • Oversee terminal design, construction, and equipment procurement
  • Coordinate with local authorities on permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop go-to-market and operational plans for new facilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target markets
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, commercial, finance, legal) on expansion projects
  • Collaborate on investment proposals and progress reports to executive leadership and board

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, * Minimum 5-7 years experience in infrastructure project management, business development, or terminal/port operations (preference for automotive, logistics, or maritime sectors)

  • English: C1 level (mandatory) - must be able to negotiate and present in English and Spanish: Professional working proficiency. Additional languages (Frenchm Portugese, Arabic) are highly valued.
  • Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects (€5M+ budgets)
  • Business development experience: Market analysis, financial modeling, business case development
  • Strong project management capabilities: Planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, risk management
  • Negotiation skills: Experience negotiating with government authorities, contractors, or in commercial contexts
  • International mobility: Willingness to travel internationally, * ports
