Job description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with our Foundation teams, which are responsible for developing our payment systems and offering the best user experience to merchants and consumers alike. You will be part of the Risk Management Squad, in the Core Finance Tribe.
Risk Management squad: Estimate the risk of funding a consumer's purchase or dealing with a merchant.
Mains responsibilities
Your main missions are:
- Create APIs and backend components that enable payments for tens of thousands of merchants and millions of consumers.
- Write maintainable code that meets the highest quality, security, and performance standards expected of a regulated company processing billions of euros.
- Evolve the architecture to meet growing business needs in close collaboration with the product team and other technical leaders.
- Take the lead in production issues and performance troubleshooting, upgrading our product to achieve greater reliability in the long run.
Our technical stack includes: Python 3.13, Docker, React, GCP, Kubernetes, Postgres, Redis, PubSub, Datadog.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with large-scale backend systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency with Python, Docker, and relational databases.
- Experiencebuildingpayment or finance solutions is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within both a cross-functional team and between teams.
- Ability to influence how businesses and products are developed.
- Fluent in French and good level of English (at least )
