Job description
ING is looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be joining the E&R Global AIOps Enablement team, helping to maximize velocity of delivery & adoption of AI Ops products and features to increase efficiency in IT Operations, minimize Mean Time To Detect and Mean Time To Mitigate incidents and maximize Mean Time Between Failures. Global AIOps Enablement Team The AIOps team exists to define, accelerate, and scale the adoption of AI-driven operational capabilities across ING. Its purpose is to set the strategic direction for AIOps, drive experimentation and innovation, and enable global and entity teams to integrate intelligent workflows into day-to-day operations. At its core, the team ensures that ING builds AIOps capabilities in a consistent, efficient, and future-proof way-providing the governance, tooling, and expertise required to evolve from today's AIOps 1.0 foundations toward a fully integrated AIOps 2.0 ecosystem.
Requirements
Experience with Operate and Response workflows at ING; Experience in building, operating and/or consuming AI solutions; Experience with building 0-downtime distributed software systems in a highly regulated enterprise environment; Experience securely building container images (e.g. Docker), running container workloads in production (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift) and orchestrating them; Good understanding of streaming technologies (Kafka or Flink); Good understanding of databases; both RDBMS and noSQL (e.g. Cassandra, Redis, InfluxDB, Grafana observability backends); Experience with (REST) API design and service meshes; Experience with public cloud provisioning technology (e.g. Terraform); Experience with building CI/CD pipelines. Experience with working in an agile/scrum way; Experience working with Data Mesh, Data Products, and / or Data Management frameworks is a plus; Affinity with analytics use cases in the observability context, or analytics within a site reliability engineering context, is a plus; Experience deploying workloads on public cloud environments using cloud native components is a plus; Meaningful contributions to Open Source projects are a plus.
