Job description
We're now hiring a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to elevate how users interact with our data-rich, insight-driven platform. You'll partner closely with our Product Manager, Senior Engineer, Commercial Director, and wider Searchland team to craft intuitive, functional experiences that deliver real customer value., + Lead design across the full product lifecycle: from problem framing through to shipped solutions and iteration
- Create low-fidelity wireframes and flows to explore ideas quickly during discovery.
- Produce high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and interaction patterns that bring solutions to life.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, internal reviews, and technical input from engineering.
- Challenge assumptions and push for clarity when problems are vague or poorly defined
- Maintain & Evolve the Design System
- Own the upkeep of new components, patterns, and UX guidelines to our design system as the platform evolves.
- Work with engineering to ensure components are implemented consistently and remain scalable.
- Identify re-usable patterns that make the product faster to build and easier to use
- Collaborate Closely With Product & Engineering
- Work with Product and Engineering to define what we should build, not just how it looks
- Help shape the product roadmap, not just sprint delivery
- Provide engineering-ready assets and support developers during implementation to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Run regular UX audits to identify areas where consistency or usability needs to be improved.
- Measure & Improve What You Ship
- Review analytics, session recordings, and qualitative feedback after releases to understand how users interact with new features.
- Identify UX issues or opportunities for newly released features, Own iteration and proposed improvements.
- Focus on outcomes (activation, conversion, retention), not just outputs.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and brings a mix of strategic thinking, organisation, and innovative design skills.You'll be designing for a data-heavy product used by busy contractors. The key challenge is turning raw planning data into something actionable, fast, and commercially valuable.
Essential Experience
- Right to work in the UK.
- 5+ years in Product Design or UI/UX roles, ideally within SaaS or startups.
- Strong portfolio clearly showing end-to-end ownership, demonstrates systems thinking, design process, and problem-solving in complex products.
- Proficiency with Figma for wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design system components.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering in agile sprint environments.
? Desired Experience
- Exposure to PropTech, B2B tools, or data-heavy interfaces.
- Understanding of front-end principles (e.g., component-driven development, responsive design, constraints).
- Familiarity with the UK property/land market.
