Technical Support Engineer

• Provide expert technical support to customers and distributors via phone, email, and other communication channels.\r\n
• Deliver on-site technical support and assistance when required.\r\n
• Support pre- and post-sales activities, acting as a key technical point of contact.\r\n
• Create technical content including application notes, competitor comparisons, and support materials.\r\n
• Support product development activities, including testing during alpha, beta, and product launch phases.\r\n
• Assist with regression testing and validation of new products.\r\n
• Deliver technical demonstrations at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.\r\n
• Maintain and manage demonstration equipment and departmental stock.\r\n
• Input and maintain accurate records within CRM systems.\r\n
• Complete departmental reporting, including visit reports, monthly updates, and expense submissions.\r\n
• Support internal teams including sales, product management, and marketing with technical expertise.\r\n
• Undertake additional duties such as testing services and workshop support as required.\r\n

• Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures (e.G., BS7671, BS2391).\r\n
• Hands-on experience as an electrician within commercial or industrial environments.\r\n
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or working towards a degree-level qualification.\r\n
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and testing/measurement principles.\r\n
• Proficiency with IT systems including MS Office and CRM platforms.\r\n
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.\r\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\r\n
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.\r\n
