Job description
MLC Partners are supporting a leading Russell Group University in recruiting an interim Systems Administrator. This is a busy and varied role, where you will play a key part in supporting and maintaining critical systems, ensuring smooth operation across key processes., As a Systems Administrator, you will join a central operations team, providing first-line support for core systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve system issues, maintain data integrity, and contribute to ongoing system improvements and enhancements., * Provide first-line support for internal systems, resolving issues via email, phone, and in person
- Carry out daily and weekly operational system tasks
- Monitor system processes and investigate anomalies, escalating where required
- Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new processes
- Administer user access and maintain accurate permissions
- Produce and analyse data reports using management information systems
- Support data reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity across systems
Requirements
- Higher Education experience would be highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing and interrogating data
- Experience providing customer-focused support across multiple channels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
- High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
