  • Work Hours - Work from home at the moment, then a transition to 1 day per week., As a key member of one of their small, talented agile teams, you will have a passion for development and a strong track record in developing and delivering software solutions. You will have a commitment to quality as well as a flexible attitude and the ability to perform under pressure.

Working in a friendly, collaborative workplace, your role will be varied and you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and help shape the software and processes going into the future.

With a SQL database and warehouse at the core of our solutions, strong SQL and any experience of warehouse and report development would be beneficial.

In the future, they will be looking at possibly moving into Docker, Containerisation and cloud / micro based services. Is this an interest of yours?

Skills & Experience:

This is a customer facing role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrates initiative when working alone.

This is together with the skills outlined below:

3+ years Java commercial development experience and database and SQL knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following:

Database Design

SSIS / Warehouse ETL

HTML, CSS, Javascript

XML/XSD

Web services, SOAP, REST

UI/UX Responsive Design

Analysis & Design techniques

Secure coding techniques

Agile development methodologies
