Location: Wokingham (Office-based) Job Type: Contract (6 months) Rate: £500 per day
Overview
Experienced Active Directory SME required to support Windows infrastructure, Azure Entra ID, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows Server environments
- Manage Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs)
- Maintain DNS, DHCP, and Azure Entra ID
- Perform patching, backups, and system troubleshooting
- Manage VMware/Hyper-V environments (VMs, clusters, performance)
- Support infrastructure stability, security, and availability
Key Skills
- 8+ years' experience in infrastructure support
- Strong Active Directory and Windows Server expertise
- Experience with Azure Entra ID
- VMware or Hyper-V experience
- Good troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Desirable
- DNS/DHCP, FTP, SSL certificates
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices
Requirements
