Python Engineer (AI systems)

This role sits at the centre of that platform. You will be responsible not just for building Back End services, but for how they are deployed, managed and scaled. Engineers in this team own infrastructure and delivery end to end, including Terraform and CI/CD, working closely with data and AI teams to bring LLM driven functionality into production., You will join a small Python team and take ownership of how systems are built, deployed and maintained.

• Build and own Python microservices and APIs used in production
• Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Own CI/CD pipelines and improve release processes
• Work across distributed, asynchronous systems
• Integrate LLM driven functionality into Back End services
• Contribute to system design and raise engineering standards across the team

• 6+ years Python Back End development
• Strong experience building and owning APIs and services in production
• Proven Terraform experience (must be hands on)
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Solid understanding of distributed systems
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred)

Exposure to AI, LLMs or similar tooling is beneficial but not essential.
