Application Developer - Contract Position - German Speaking Required Location: Bern, Switzerland (4 days onsite per week, 1 day remote) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 months (extension possible) Maximum Rate: CHF 100 - 150 per hour
About the Role We are seeking experienced specialists in the field of output management for our client. The focus is on the migration, development, and maintenance of interactive templates from kwsoft towards M/TEXT TONIC, based on technical and operational requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Migration of existing Papyrus CF templates to M/TEXT TONIC
- Testing and quality assurance of templates, as well as coordination with specialist departments
- Development of complex templates for automated document processes
- Further development and optimization of existing kwsoft standards
- Technical optimizations in close collaboration with the team and tech lead
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in output management, ideally with M/TEXT TONIC
- German fluency is mandatory
- Experience with Git
- Programming skills (eg, Java)
- Very good knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience in application engineering
- Fluency in German is mandatory
- Ability to analyse and solve complex problems
- Teamwork skills and experience in agile software development environments
- Conflict resolution skills and a structured work approach
- High degree of self-organization
Nice to have skills
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5
- Experience with Jira
- SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of the SAFe framework
