Job description

Ensure operational stability of services with focus on file transfer platforms.
Guarantee proper execution of batch processes, file transfers, and workflows.
Manage incidents end-to-end with fast resolution.
Improve service through monitoring, automation, and performance analysis.
Provide technical and functional support to users.
Implement and supervise monitoring systems for health of application components.
Oversee batch scheduling aligned with production plan.
Manage releases and coordinate changes with teams.
Maintain and improve technical documentation and knowledge bases.
Analyze logs and performance data to enhance reliability.

Requirements

A leading technology service provider in Spain is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer for file transfer and middleware solutions. This role involves ensuring operational stability, handling incidents, improving service quality, and providing technical support. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT Application Support, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate effectively. Strong experience working with file transfer solutions.
Experience in production environments, batch processing, and incident management.
Solid understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and monitoring.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of IT risk and cybersecurity principles.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
