Job description
You will play a vital role in driving innovation and growth in motor drives applications, leveraging your technical expertise to develop and support cutting-edge solutions for a range of industries. - Develop and support motor drives applications (48VDC-400VDC) for various industries, such as robotics, drones, and power tools
- Define and develop new MOSFET technology to best fit application needs, driving innovation and system-level advancements
- Drive technical Go-to-Market activities, including creating application notes, design demo boards, and run system simulations to secure design-win
- Provide 3rd level techical support to filed application engineers and customers on application level with system simulations, and hardware builds
- Engage with customers through on-site visits, technical trainings, and cooperation projects to drive design-in activities, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing
- Conduct lab measurements and contribute to lab automation enhancements to ensure efficient and accurate testing and development

Requirements
- A university or university of applied sciences degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Physics or comparable, ideally with focus on power electronics and MCU firmware
- At least 3 years of working experience in the semiconductor or power electronics industry
- System understanding and a background in power electronics and motor drive applications
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. Simetrics, LTSpice, Simulink) and math calculation tools (e.g. Matlab, Excel), Programming skills (e.g. embedded programming for MCUs, C#, Python, FPGA programming)
- Experience with lab measurements operating scopes, DVM, power analyzers, but also soldering and assembling prototype boards
- Fluency in English (German language skills are an advantage)
Benefits & conditions
This position is limited to 1 year. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
