It's the best way to share uncompressed, high-resolution video and audio within and between operating rooms. This unique technology platform is specifically designed for Operating Room integration, enhancing operational efficiency, team collaboration, and surgical precision.

The Nexxis Management Suite (NMS) provides comprehensive control and management capabilities for the Nexxis ecosystem. This management suite sets up, manages, and monitors AV-over-IP streams between video encoders and decoders, facilitating seamless configuration and management.

We are further expanding the software, supporting new Nexxis devices, features and preparing the software for AI and accelerated computing. You can learn more about Nexxis here and NMS here., The Role: Backend Java/Kotlin Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to strengthen our Nexxis NMS team. As a key member of our small agile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that power the Nexxis platform., * Design, develop, and test backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and improvements for the Nexxis NMS.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Young gradudates with some practical exposure in backend software development with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin

Technical Skills: *

• Exposure or interest to grow in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL design and development.
• Familiarity with concepts related to accelerated computing (e.g., GPU programming, high-performance computing) is a significant advantage.
