Job description
In this important key role, you will take on the strategic and operational management of global IT and ensure global 24/7 coverage with resources placed in the most appropriate geographical location. You will push forward the modernization of the existing system landscape and be responsible in particular for the further development of a future-proof reservation and information system. In addition, you will ensure stable, secure, and efficient systems, optimize digital processes along the entire service chain, and guarantee compliance with laws and regulations at all times. You will coordinate international IT teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders and lead your employees (5 directly and approx. 40 indirectly) in a motivating manner. As a member of the Executive Committee, you will make an important contribution to the strategic development of Scenic Group.
Requirements
We are looking for a convincing leader with strong communication skills and experience in the service industry. You do not see yourself as a pure technician, but as a strategic IT leader with business understanding and excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructures. Furthermore, you are familiar with complex service and value chains, have a good understanding of B2B business models, and enjoy working in direct exchange with various stakeholders. You are confident in an international environment and have excellent English skills.
