Job description
- Architect and maintain modern frontend systems using TypeScript, SolidJS, and contemporary web APIs, ensuring reliability and usability across complex medical workflows
- Develop robust and intuitive 2D and 3D interaction patterns, including anatomical navigation, measurement tools, and editing or manipulation of geometric models
- Implement and optimize GPU-accelerated rendering pipelines for volumetric, surface, and slice-based visualizations (e.g., MPR, mesh rendering, volume rendering)
- Collaborate closely with Algorithm, Backend, Product, and Clinical teams to integrate visualizations with segmentation results, geometric processing, and procedural planning tools
- Ensure high reliability, usability, and performance in a medical-grade, regulated environment, while continuously improving the rendering and interaction stack
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience developing interactive web applications in TypeScript, modern UI frameworks (ideally SolidJS) and component-driven frontend architectures
- Solid understanding of 3D math, computational geometry, shader programming, and performance optimization strategies for real-time rendering; ideally with modern web APIs such as WebGL, WebAssembly and WebGPU.
- Experience working with volumetric, mesh-based, or scientific visualization pipelines; exposure to medical imaging (CT/MRI) is a strong advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Quality teams, ideally in high-reliability or regulated software environments
- Strong communication skills, clean coding practices, and a high sense of ownership
