Java Tech Lead

Valtech is seeking a Java Tech Lead (all genders) to join our team. This role focuses on technical leadership, project delivery, and ongoing support for our e-commerce solutions. Role responsibilities

• Guide the team in delivering backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and evolve scalable APIs and services
• Support delivery of features in a high-traffic e-commerce environment
• Ensure code quality and promote best practices (Clean Code, TDD)
• Contribute to technical decisions and application performance
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing within the team

3+ years as a Tech Lead

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with production backend systems
• Understanding of APIs and scalable architectures
• Experience with high-traffic applications
• Good English communication skills

Nice to have qualifications

• Salesforce integration experience
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices and CI/CD
• Experience in international teams
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
